Happy memories of two winter seasons with such a ‘summery’ show! Performed acoustically in traverse in the huge TV studio 2 ( incidentally, where I rehearsed with the original London Cast of SUNSET BOULEVARD !)
Thanks to Peter Morris and our wonderful engineer (and so much more!) Rob Ackerman at VOICEOVER SOHO for helping me create this character reel – in the hope of bringing in some Animation Voice Work.
Thankyou for two of the happiest contracts of my career – playing Emile DeBecque in SOUTH PACIFIC & my favourite role ever, Henry Higgins in MY FAIR LADY !
Wishing Ceal Mackay and Adam Watkiss a very Happy Retirement ! You’ll be missed. KILWORTH HOUSE THEATRE is the most magical performance venue!
i joined the company of the original production of Phantom in 1990 ! An incredible production in the perfect theatre.
Crazy to think that the London Production of LES MISERABLES is celebrating its 35th Birthday – despite the extraordinary upheavals and temporary closure.
I’m very proud to have played a part in this epic journey – My very first West End job. In 1987 I joined the second cast (actually many of the original Barbican cast were still there!). After 6 months as Swing, I was given the role of Grantaire, understudying Marius & Enjolras, then after a further 6 months, also played the Factory Foreman.
August 2011 Edinburgh Fringe saw the phenomenDirectal HAMLET! THE MUSICAL win Best Musical on the Fringe, leading to a runs at Northampton Royal Theatre and Richmond Theatre. Featuring a cast of only 6 actors, the show parodies but tells the story of the Danish Prince faithfully! I played Claudius, The Ghost (portrayed as a ‘Vegas Lounge Singer’!) and various woodland creatures in Ophelias mad scene!!
(Music – Alex Silverman Lyrics/Book Timothy Knapman & Edward Jaspers. Directed by Ryan McBride Produced by Eleanor Lloyd)
